I thought you guys did an amazing job on Friday working together with your teams to come up with names, mottos, leaders and strengths about each other. Now, that's a fantastic start to getting a team together. It looks like we have some points to add up from Friday already. I'm sure there will be plenty more throughout this week. If you haven't told your families about our Cadet Pride teams, please do. Explain to them each of the different tickets, how you earn them, what they are worth and what happens if YOUR team wins for the week!! As you left on Friday afternoon, every single one of you liked the idea of the teams. So, I'm glad to see such a positive, excited attitude to help each other and yoursleves out! I also LOVED seeing all of the teams check up with each other after planners. That was VERY IMPRESSIVE! Good job looking out for each other.

Monday - Starting Projects in Writing! Can't wait! (Focus Group - Mrs. Wilson)

Tuesday - Radical Readers!

Wednesday - Art Club - don't forget your permission slip if you haven't been there before

Thursday - Special Literacy Class - bring a coffee cup or mug to class - make sure it's ok with parents first

Friday - Mrs. Sorenson is gone today! I'll tell you why this week!

I'll know you checked the blog if you give a small yellow ticket to someone in our class on Monday morning who IS NOT on your team. Look for someone that you think is following directions well, has out their materials, is not chatting, etc. You'll need to ask me for a yellow ticket right as you walk in. Circle what quality (caring, responsible, etc.) and put his/her name on it. Give it back to me, and I'll put it up on the bulletin board for you.
