Going on Two Weeks of Summer!

Hey there, future 6th graders!!
Isaiah wanted to say, "Hey, there all you cool cats!"

It's been about a week since I last wrote on the blog. I got to see quite a few of you at the Family Fun Night at Kessel Park last Friday. That was super! Taylor has written lots of comments to all of her 5B family, so if you haven't seen them, scroll back a few posts and look under the "Comments" section. You'll see all the nice things Taylor has written about missing 5B. Thanks, Taylor for all of the nice comments. I miss you guys, too.

To Taylor, yes, I have finished "Catching Fire" and was amazed at how it left me hanging wanting more and more! I'll start reading "Mockingjay" on my way to our cabin next week sometime. A 6-hour car ride will give me plenty of time to get into the world of Panem and District 13!! Yeah! I can't believe Taylor has reread one book 11 times! Now, that's someone who loves to read!!

I had to present our Animoto projects yesterday at a conference. Everyone LOVED the movie trailers. They had so many questions about how you came up with the music choices, the pictures, etc. You all should be quite proud of yourselves. I bragged and bragged about how well you all worked on this project!

I haven't been up to the high school yet to see if any of you are trying out the free breakfasts and lunches. I heard they are great. I saw a menu of the lunches for June. They seem to be a lot of your favorites from the school year! I'd love to meet up with a group sometime. I just need to know when people might be going. So send me an email, write a comment on the blog, text your friends and let me know when it will work!

Hope everyone is enjoying themselves. I've been to the Decorah Pool three times with Isaiah. He LOVES it. He can't get enough of the water slide. We're headed to our cabin next week some time. I always look forward to that trip. (except the mosquitoes and other bugs...grrrrr)

I went to the school to pick up something yesterday and our 5B room is completely EMPTY! Everything has been moved out so they can clean it up and make it look fresh and new. It was a little sad to see it REALLY over. Well, I guess that means it's time to move on again:(
