The goals you made for yourselves are realistic and show that you are WANTING to show how much  you've learned over a year (from 4th to 5th grade).  Explain to your families what the GE (Grade Equivalent) means and tell them your past score and your goal for this year!

I know today was a lot of testing, so it's important to get rested up and then pumped BACK UP to take on another day of it.  Tomorrow is a half-day, but you still have 2 tests:  Reading Comprehension (VERY IMPORTANT) and Vocabulary (can't read without knowing words, huh?).  Building your test taking stamina is like building your Read to Self stamina... You get better, the more you PRACTICE:)

Good luck to the band kiddos!  I'm sorry I'll miss the concert.  I'm heading to Decorah tonight and won't be back until late:(  But I do have a surprise for tomorrow, right away @ 8:30!
