5B is FABULOUS! (Fabulous! with pizzazz)!

5B,
I sure hope you go home to your families and brag about how amazing our class is!  I know bragging is not the best example of Cadet Pride, but hey, when you Got It, Flaunt It, Baby!

Great job for those who checked the blog!  I love seeing you taking the extra effort to show you think about school even AFTER you walk out of the doors:)  Keep that up and encourage your friends to do so too if they aren't checking, ok?!

Also, awesome job making Mrs. Branum pay up for her Ice Bucket Challenge/Self Portrait Unicorn Drawing Dare!  She'll donate $20 in honor of 5B!  Way to show you care!

I'll keep it kind of short tonight, but I wanted to remind you and families of some of the events coming up this week and the next weeks, too!

THIS WEEK:
* Students will be testing out instruments for band!
*This Friday - Wear you Cadet Nation Shirts (or BLUE)!
*This Friday - Fun with Fitness Day!  Dance and Bouncy Houses!

COMING UP:
*Next Week:  Picture Day!
*Next Friday, Sept. 12 - Field Trip to Borlaug Learning Center
*Next, Next Friday, Sept. 19 - Field Trip to Borlaug Farm

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY, eh?!!!

In addition to the field trips to celebrate Norman Borlaug's contributions to the world, during the Harvest Fest there will be opportunities to help package meals for people who don't have enough food!  Here's the link to check it out and volunteer to help package meals!  Get the whole family helping!  Thinking of others is the best way to find out what kind of person you are!

I'll know you checked the blog if you come in right away and ask me, "Can you tell me more about these field trips, please?"  Don't forget the please!  I'll hand you a paper that explains both of them to you!  Then just have a seat while we're getting ready for attendance!

Have a fantastic night!  WONDERFUL Wednesday is upon us!  No more Wild or Wacky ones like last week, right?!
