If we didn't read together today for Skeleton Man, I don't think I would have really seen you guys today! I did really enjoy the "snuggle" time reading today, so thank you for having such great enthusiasm for our class read aloud! I'm loving this book as our final read aloud!! What a great way to end the year....excitement, mystery, questions, inferring... Aww... a reading adventure!!
FIRST
Tomorrow is going to continue to be quite a test for your independence and Cadet Pride! We will be meeting with 5D in the Discovery Center for work in the morning before our field trip. Mrs. Suckow will have jobs, centers, activities to work on, finish up and begin. There will also be time to finish up literacy jobs for me during that time.
SECOND
Then, of course, we'll head to the Nature Center for a great day of learning outside of the classroom. We are so lucky to have these opportunities to learn, so be sure you show you appreciate it by being 100% on task and participating. We will have 1/2 of Mrs. Halverson's class joining ours for the rotations at the Nature Center. So this will also be a test of your self-control with new friends.
LAST
Finally, after we get back for lunch and recess, we will continue the same activities in the Discovery Center again. During all of this time in the Discovery Center, I'll be pulling people for the timed reading assessments.
As you can see, we have another crazy and busy day! Here is your blog proof... Come in right away in the morning and open up your Writing Journal to Thursday (a your choice) topic. Look at the 4 different topics you'll be learning about during the Nature Center visit. Write down 4 questions about each topic. List them like this...
