It's BRAGGING TIME!

The FAST assessment may not have been what you were looking forward today when you came to school, but for the 5th graders in 5B and 5D, your scores were....

We had a few glitches, so a few people will get/need to retake it.  That happened in 5A and 5C, too.  So, we'll celebrate when everyone has had a chance to complete it for good:)

The Poke-a-Muscle challenge seemed to peak a bit of interest after the arm wrestling activity was truly accepted!  Thanks to 2 of our 5B classmates for the fantastic muscle knowledge!  Lyli, thanks for taking the pictures of the results of the arm wrestling....but you forgot to get the OTHER PERSON in the pictures:)

To be sure EVERYONE knows, that kid in the pink
shirt is JOSH!!  Yep, Mrs. Sorenson smoked him!
We did shake hands though, and it was a friendly competition!

Then... there was the 2nd challenge.....
A huge congratulations goes out to Landen for his
massive pipes and muscle knowledge to have beat
both my TIME and my ARM MUSCLES!  Either
Lyli was trying to cut you out, or you were REALLY
happy to have crushed your teacher!

Ok.. new challenge.. If you can beat my NEWER score.... 89.1, (with proof of photo/screenshot/parent note), I will take the competitor on in a different physical challenge.  However, I won't tell you what it is yet!  Just start working those legs muscles though, just in case!!

Your blog proof tonight will be to look at the WEIRDLY WACKY WEDNESDAY schedule below, and whisper to me WHICH of the activities for tomorrow you are looking MOST forward to...

8:30 - 8:45  Read Skeleton Man
8:50 - 9:35  Tech Class/Maker Space
9:40 - 10:25 Make Up Music Class
10:30 - 10:45  Read Skeleton Man
10:45 - 11:30  Last Guidance Class with Mrs. McCabe.... forever...  (remember, she has 2 options for class - 1 is a game, 1 is a regular lesson - let's see which one she thinks you've earned)
11:35  Lunch
**During many of your specials, I'll be pulling students to do the fluency reading tests (timed ones)
